00:08Usec, regarding the tax evasion case that DOJ filed against a cosmetics company,

00:13what are the consequences of this from your investigation?

00:18Asic, Dale, several criminal cases were filed by DOJ against a cosmetics company

00:24due to the lack of proper tax returns.

00:28DOJ filed four tax evasion cases against the Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 33

00:35against the company and its officials.

00:39This is a part of the Bureau of Internal Revenue run after a fake transactions program

00:46to fight the spread of fake receipts.

00:49According to the report,

00:50the company used fake receipts to file overstated expenses

00:56of up to Php 1,000,000 to lower their taxable income.

01:02This is from the case that the BIR filed against DOJ on February 1, 2024

01:07under the leadership of Commissioner Romeo Lumague Jr.

01:10and it is expected that the arrest warrants against the accused will be released in the near future.

01:17Usec, in other words, what are the details of the joint operation of the NBI and DOJ

01:22in arresting a lawyer who has multiple cases?

01:26Asic, Dale, a pedophile lawyer in Sabuanga City was arrested

01:30in the joint operation of the Department of Justice,

01:33Office of Cybercrime, and National Bureau of Investigation.

01:37The suspect, Michael P. Molina, was identified

01:40who, aside from being a lawyer,

01:43is also a certified public accountant and active real estate agent.

01:47Molina's modus operandi in a cyber surveillance and intelligence operations

01:52where three minors were rescued from him.

01:56He was also accompanied by gadgets used in the crime

01:59that showed that in the year 2002,

02:01he was already collecting pornographic materials

02:04and he was young when he was victimized.

02:07There were six minors who were victimized by the suspect

02:10when the operation was successful

02:12with the help of the National Center Against Osaic,

02:16NCSA-EM, Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission,

02:20DSWD, and the non-government organization of Exodus Philippines.

02:25Now, the DSWD is in custody of the minors

02:29while the suspect is investigating the cases.
