00:00Under Secretary Frederick Vida has been appointed Acting Secretary of the Department of Justice

00:05following the appointment of former DOJ Secretary Jesus Crispino Rimulia as Ombudsman.

00:12Vida, who previously served as officer in charge of the department,

00:16emphasized that his mandate from President Ferdinand R. Marcus Jr. is clear

00:20to uphold the rule of law and ensure accountability for those who violate it.

00:25He also reassured the public that the DOJ will continue to fulfill its duties

00:30with integrity and dedication to justice.
