00:00Well, I try to be realistic.

00:19I was surprised.

00:20I thought that maybe Milton would bring back a little more, particularly in light of some

00:28of the other recent trades for backup quarterbacks, but then you start to think about reasons

00:33why they traded him.

00:35And obviously, the guy you just heard me try to describe with that sensational play in

00:40Tennessee last year is the primary reason, Drake May.

00:44His classmate, they drafted the two quarterbacks, as you know, together.

00:48But I think also that Joe Milton had this remarkable flourish to end the season against

00:54the Buffalo Bills.

00:56And he has tremendous physical skills.

00:58But he is still, I think, very much a great unknown, and a lot of the questions that followed

01:03him out of the University of Tennessee into the NFL as a late-round draft pick remain

01:08for most people.

01:09So I think when you sit down and process it, while a lot of fans here are disappointed,

01:15I still think the Patriots accomplished what they needed to.

01:19They got another pick.

01:20They were able to move on.
