00:13More than 2,500 vehicles from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, or MMDA,
00:19are being deployed to the main bus terminals, seaports, and airports.
00:24This is a part of their Offland Metro Alalay Semana Santa to ensure the proper traffic flow and safety of passengers.
00:31The MMDA's plan includes the implementation of the No Day Off and No Absent Policy for their residents from April 16, 17, and 21.
00:39There will also be tow trucks that will accompany the main streets to help the damaged vehicles.
00:44There will also be ambulances in the large provincial bus terminals to provide medical assistance to passengers.
00:50Meanwhile, provincial buses will be allowed to pass through EDSA from April 9, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
00:57From April 16 to 20, these buses will pass through EDSA all day long.
01:01As for the buses from the southern areas, their route is only up to EDSA Pasay,
01:06while those from the northern areas are only up to EDSA Cubao.
01:10The No's In, No's Out Policy will be strictly enforced in the bus terminals to avoid congestion.
01:15Passengers will not be allowed to get off the bus in front of the bus terminals, especially if they are on the side of the road.
01:20There will also be continuous arresting of the passengers in the vehicles.
01:23Let us remember that this is not safe. Aside from overcharging our passengers,
01:28there is no insurance for our passengers.
01:33So, I am also calling on our residents, as much as possible,
01:38let us not get caught by these towtrucks.
01:42The numbered coding scheme will be suspended from April 17 and 18.
01:46Rotary blocking is expected from April 16 to 21.
01:49The MMDA's advisory will be issued until DPWH repairs the C5 Flyover southbound.
