00:05Criminal Court, or ICC, coinciding with Prime Minister Viktor Orban hosting Israeli Prime

00:10Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who faces an ICC arrest warrant for war crimes in Gaza.

00:17Orban criticized the ICC as a political court and supported Netanyahu, who welcomed Hungary's

00:23move.

00:24The withdrawal process will take a year, and the ICC insisted Hungary still has a duty

00:29to cooperate.

00:30Netanyahu's visit aims to reduce the impact of the arrest warrant and facilitate his future

00:35travels.

00:36Hungary, a signatory to the Rome Statute, has never fully implemented the ICC's jurisdiction

00:42due to constitutional issues.

00:44Only Burundi and the Philippines have previously withdrawn from the court.
