00:39the Siddharamaya government has decided to raise milk prices by Rs. 4 per litre.

00:48The KMF has welcomed the move but consumers are expected to bear the brunt of the price hike.

00:57In the Sobh Union, we are selling milk for Rs. 50 for Rs. 2, Rs. 50 for Rs. 4 and Rs. 50 for Rs. 6.

01:36In August 2023, milk price was hiked by Rs. 3.

01:41In June 2024, by another Rs. 2.

01:45And now in 2025, milk prices are set to rise by Rs. 4, effective from April 1.

01:54Apart from milk, several other price hikes have burdened Karnataka citizens.

01:59In February 2024, stamp duty charges hiked by 200-500%.

02:06March 2024, lifetime tax on electric vehicles priced above Rs. 25 lakh increased.

02:14June 2024, petrol and diesel prices raised by Rs. 3 due to tax hike.

02:20January 2025, 15% bus fare hike approved.

02:25And duty on beer increased across the state.

02:28In February 2025, 50% hike on Bengaluru metro fares.

02:34And in March, power tariffs were hiked by Rs. 36 per unit.
