00:00Senate President Francis Chiz Escudero asserted that the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte

00:06did not compromise the sovereignty of the Philippines.

00:09Senator Escudero stated that it was also Filipinos themselves who filed the case against Duterte before the ICC.

00:17The Senate leader pointed out that under Philippine laws,
