00:06introduced their programs that can be a key for the growth and development of the regions. To know the focus of the programs,

00:21The Department of Science and Technology ramps up initiatives to boost science, technology and innovation as drivers for economic growth,

00:30job creation, and enhance industry competitiveness.

00:33DOST emphasized that through their programs, turning research into marketable products is key to job creation,

00:40economic growth, and achieving the goals of the Philippine Development Plan. During a zonal conference at Mindanao State University,

00:47Iligan Institute of Technology, DOST introduced three key programs to government leaders,

00:54educators, industry leaders, and businesspersons from regions 9 and 10.

00:58Program Propel focuses on commercializing research outputs by providing key services.

01:04STI for STGs uses science and technology to address global challenges,

01:09and Pagtanaw 2050 equips leaders with strategic foresight for future planning.
