00:04Supplies are also sufficient for the whole region.

00:09DTI Western Visayas is continuously monitoring supermarkets,
00:13grocery stores and other retail establishments in the provinces of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo and Negros Occidental.
00:21This is to ensure compliance to suggested retail prices or SRPs
00:25and to avoid overpricing, hoarding and other unfair trade practices.
00:30At the same time, DTI is also coordinating with manufacturers, distributors and local retailers
00:36to secure enough supplies of basic needs in the region.
00:40DTI reminds consumers to avoid panic buying as purchasing of more than what's needed may affect the supply flow
00:47and create market pressure, leading to price increases.
00:52Should there be cases of overpricing or unfair trade practices,
00:55consumers are advised to report it to the nearest DTI office or official Facebook page of DTI Western Visayas.
