00:00Mystic Guide and Speakers Corner hail from ultra-successful Godolphin pedigrees and they

00:06both followed in their family's footsteps on the racetrack.

00:09Now, the duo is preparing to take up stud duty at Darley's Johnabell Farm.

00:15Mystic Guide and Speakers Corner are new to the Johnabell roster for 2023 and we couldn't

00:21be more excited to have them both join our stallion ranks.

00:25So Speakers Corner is a horse who has been held in the highest of esteem right from the

00:31get-go and won his second start at Belmont, which was an extremely strong maiden.

00:36He beat five future stakes winners that day.

00:39He had a little bug for the start of his three-year-old season so he missed some time, but we got him

00:44back to the races.

00:45He won two allowances very impressively, good for a 101 and a 109 buyer.

00:50It's going to be the three-year-old Speakers Corner to win going away at the end.

00:54Speakers Corner, one buy, six lengths.

00:57Starting with his four-year-old season, we cut him back to one mile and he just proved

01:01a revelation.

01:02He started out with a win in the grade three Fred Hooper at Goldstream, circled back, won

01:08the grade two Goldstream Park mile, got a 106 buyer for that, and then we cut him back

01:13even further to seven eights for the grade one Carter and he just won that in a romp,

01:17earned a 114 buyer, which is the fastest buyer for any horse in the last three years aside

01:23from Flightline.

01:24Speakers Corner in a dominating performance, winning the Carter.

01:30Speakers Corner is out of our own Bernardini mare, Tyburn Brooke.

01:35Tyburn Brooke herself, she is a daughter of Round Pond.

01:38Round Pond won the Breeders' Cup Distaff and the grade one Acorn Stakes.

01:43He's got a great mind, wants to train.

01:46Certainly a well-made, racy, attractive, athletic horse who is very straightforward

01:52and has been extremely popular with breeders these past couple of months.

01:58So Mystic Guide, he is a big, imposing, impressive horse.

02:03He is 16, two and a half, a big flashy chestnut.

02:08An amazing pedigree is the first thing to start with Mystic Guide.

02:11He is by Go Sapper out of an AP Indy mare who was our own music note.

02:16She was a phenom on the racetrack.

02:18She won five grade one races for us.

02:21On the racetrack, Mystic Guide won his second start by five lengths at Fairgrounds in the

02:27spring of his three-year-old year.

02:29He was tabbed at TDN Rising Star.

02:32Won the grade two Jim Dandy at Saratoga, a very impressive race.

02:35And following that, he ran second to Happy Saver by half a length in the grade one Jockey

02:40Club Gold Cup.

02:43So at four, Mystic Guide won the grade three Razorback Stakes.

02:47He won that by six lengths, good for a 108 buyer.

02:51He did go on and win the Dubai World Cup by almost four lengths in a faster time than

02:56California Chrome and Arrowgate.

02:58And following that race for 14 weeks, he was the number one rated horse in the world.

03:02Hypothetical salute to soldier Magnetcore, but it's going to be a Godolphin win, a Godolphin

03:07USA win.

03:09Mystic Guide charges away and takes the Dubai World Cup.

03:12Mystic Guide wins easily.

03:14With Mystic Guide, he's a horse who has a great temperament as well.

03:18He's a real efficient, real daisy cutter, real dirt walk to him.

03:25And certainly is a horse who commands a lot of presence when viewing him.

03:31You know, for Godolphin to win the Dubai World Cup and to keep it in house with the home

03:35bred, I know it was Michael Stidham's first time with a horse for Godolphin shipping to

03:40Dubai.

03:41So that was certainly extra special for him.

03:43But you know, he certainly has done us proud at every step of his career and Dubai World

03:48Cup was certainly the pinnacle and was just extra special for all those reasons.
