00:06race records, but they also have pedigrees to match as they're both out of top stallions

00:11in Curlin and Tappit, and both of their dams are grade one winners.

00:15Here Darren Fox tells us more about the unforgettable Cody's Wish and his new stud mate, fellow

00:20multi-millionaire Proxy.

00:24This year we are very excited to be bringing in two high caliber stallion prospects to

00:28the Jonabell Stallion Barn.

00:30We have Cody's Wish, who is a brilliant five-time grade one winning son of Curlin, and also

00:35Proxy, a grade one winning son of Tappit.

00:38And for our operation to have produced two homebreds to hit these high notes on the racetrack

00:44and complete the circle and come to the Stallion Barn, we are really excited about what the

00:49future holds for both of these stallions.

00:52Cody's Wish has been extremely popular, as one might imagine, and he has settled in great.

00:59Physically, he is the complete package and he is a stunner.

01:03He's quite a good size horse, 16, 3 and 3 quarters, so he's a substantial horse, but

01:09he is so well balanced, he is so well proportioned.

01:12From afar, you would be forgiven for not thinking he was that big at all.

01:16He is just so well made, obviously his stride on the track was just tremendous.

01:22And he is an absolute superstar.

01:24To the finish, here's the wire!

01:27Oh, the Wish has come true!

01:30Cody's Wish has won the Breeders' Cup third mile!

01:35This year, for me, probably one of his most impressive wins was in the Met Mile.

01:39The circle of the field and draw off the way he did was just incredible.

01:43He garnered a 1.12 buyer, which is still the highest buyer in North America this year.

01:49But it's Cody's Wish, and this beautiful racing story continues with this terrific racehorse.

01:56He has now won six in a row.

01:59He is Curlin's only five-time Grade 1 winning son standing at stud.

02:04And he is also Curlin's fastest son at less than a mile.

02:08He's out of a Grade 1 winning Tappet mare dance card.

02:12Her Grade 1 win actually came going nine furlongs in the gazelle.

02:16It makes him a very exciting stallion prospect to mix that blend of stamina and speed.

02:21And obviously, crossed with some of the best mares in the country,

02:25it really sets him up to have a very exciting stallion career.

02:29It's certainly going to be a very strong book of young mares.

02:33A lot of Grade 1 winners, Grade 1 producers, Grade 1 winners.

02:36So it certainly is going to set him up for every success going forward.

02:41Proxy is a very exciting horse that we are also adding to the roster this year.

02:45He is a horse who definitely has attracted a lot of fans from people viewing him in person.

02:52He is a stunning looking horse.

02:54Anyone who brings a yearling version of Proxy to the sales will be very handsomely rewarded.

03:00He is just that commercial type.

03:02And breeders have recognized that and have supported him accordingly.

03:07Pedigree is amazing.

03:08Everyone knows and remembers Pantyraid.

03:11What a great race mare she was.

03:13She's also produced our own filly, Micheline.

03:16He's got the Grade 1, multiple Grade 1 winning race mare.

03:18He's a half to a really, really good filly.

03:20And he is a very high performing race horse in his own right.

03:23So, you know, he earned 2.76 million throughout his career.

03:27He ran five triple digit buyers up to a high of 104.

03:31Big win came in the Grade 1 Clark's Day to Churchill.

03:34He did the Grade 1 winner at West Willpower that day.

03:38So very gutsy display.

03:40He defeated 18 Grade 1 winners throughout his career, which is a record for the barn.

03:45And for context, Medaglia d'Oro lies second on 17.

03:48So it really, you know, tells you how good a race horse this guy was.

03:53He is a very well rounded, high performing horse to bring into the stallion barn.
