00:00The Consultative Council for Islamic Organizations, or MAPIM on Monday, condemned an Israeli airstrike
00:08on Beit Lahiya in Gaza that killed eight humanitarian volunteers from the organization.
00:15MAPIM President Mohammad Azmi Abdul Hamid said they demand the United Nations to take
00:20immediate action against Israel for the war crime to ensure the safety of aid workers
00:25and civilians in Gaza.
00:27He said MAPIM also wants an immediate ceasefire to stop the killings of civilians and unhindered
00:33access to humanitarian aid in Gaza.
00:36He said despite the danger of their workers, MAPIM stays committed to providing aid to
00:41Palestinians.
00:42MAPIM said the volunteers were setting up tents to shelter families displaced by the
00:47war when the airstrike took place on March 15.
00:52Gaza's health ministry said the attack killed nine Palestinians, including two journalists
00:57and wounding several others.
