Viral fried chicken chain Popeyes opens in Edinburgh

Located in the heart of the city on Princes Street, the new Popeyes restaurant opened its doors in March after much anticipation .

00:34was going to be a cold night, but it's worth it. So I came up really early last night.

00:39The first three customers for opening day today get free chicken sandwiches for a year.

00:57save it. The weather was pretty agreeable for most of the night. We just sat on the

01:02Nucleus awning to protect ourselves from any of the more harsh elements. But it was a lot

01:07of fun. I made friends with these girls and we just talked and joked and laughed and stayed

01:13up all night kind of getting to know each other and kind of all being excited for Popeye's

01:19chicken sandwiches.
