00:00This Edinburgh restaurant is going to have to become one of my go-tos in the city after I discovered my new favourite meal.
00:06If, like me, you're a pescatarian, then you have to pay a visit to First Coast and Dorai Road near Haymarket Station.
00:12The restaurant has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, the staff are really friendly, and the menu has so many delicious food and drink options to choose from.
00:21It was really difficult to whittle down my choices, but I started with some oysters, caviar blinis, and octopus with romesco and a fernel salad.
00:28The octopus was absolutely delicious, it was really meaty, and went perfectly with the nutty sauce, and it was definitely one of the two standout dishes from my visit.
00:38The other standout was, without a doubt, the crispy lobster burger, which was served with parmesan and chilli chips and a chipotle mayonnaise.
00:45I'm not kidding when I say I've been thinking about this burger since I visited, and I'm going to have to go back soon to have it again.
00:51It was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed full of delicious lobster meat.
00:56To finish, I had a vegan pumpkin pie, and also snuck a taste of the peanut caramel cheesecake, both of which were lovely sweet treats to end the meal.
01:05First Coast is well worth a visit, and I'm sure it will come as no surprise that my dish of the day, which I highly recommend you try on your next visit, is without a doubt the lobster burger.
