00:00Are you open to more loans and stuff, Kane? Are you at the point where you'd like to maybe sign somewhere permanently or...?
00:06I think I'm open to anything. I'm open to what I feel will be right for me at the time, whether that be a loan, whether that be a perm or whether that be to stay at Villa.
00:19I think we'll see and obviously the conversations will help me understand better my position for next season.
00:27Until that time comes, I probably won't know. It's all about waiting, playing really well now, trying to improve still obviously and finishing off this season really well.
00:39In terms of the champ, do you think you might have ticked it off? Do you feel like you're comfortable at the level in terms of going higher?
00:45I wouldn't say I've completed the level, I think because there's games where I can play and I'm still having a tough game, I'm struggling.
00:54I don't think you can say that you've completed it. Obviously, I'm having a really good season, probably one of my best so far.
01:01I'm just enjoying the moment now, here and now. Obviously, in the summer, there will be conversations to be had and until then, we'll just have to see.
01:11Are there any games where you think you've struggled?
01:14I think the Sheffield United game, the first half. I think I struggled a little bit to get into the game and where to be and stuff like that.
01:27But obviously, I think the second half was much better, my position. I think I just needed a bit to ask for some info from the manager of things I weren't getting right in the game and I think I did that.
01:38Physically, how have you timed it? Because you are asked to get up and down for 90 minutes and it's not easy.
01:43Yeah, tough. I think I said it before in the interview. I think it's about your mentality. If you're saying you're tired, then you're going to be tired.
01:50So, I try my best to just say I'm fine and I'm okay. I think it's working at the moment. I keep churning out the 90s and stuff.
01:59Obviously, I had to come off the other day. A little bit of cramp and fatigue, but I'm okay. So, yeah, good to go.
02:06What takes you to the next level, do you think? Is it finishing?
02:09Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm currently obviously working on it a lot. I've got to thank Ched for that as well because he's taking his time out to do one-to-ones with me.
02:21Obviously, there's parts of your game that you always want to improve and that would be a part of my game that I think if I can improve, then I'd be a much better player.
02:30Have you replayed that for any chance in your head?
02:33I try not to, obviously. I don't really want to watch it back twice, but you try and get that stuff out of your head.
02:40Because if it comes to the next one, it would just keep replaying and stuff like that.
02:43So, obviously, I'm just working on technique and fun in the corner and Ched's helping me massively.
02:50What was your reaction to the Cup draw then, just hitting hands?
02:53Yeah, devastated. I was devastated. Obviously, as you would be devastated.
02:58I think I messaged a few of the staff here to ask, obviously, could I definitely not play?
03:03And they said, no, it's not possible. So, I was devastated.
03:06But at the same time, it's going to be a class day and if we do get through, we're going to Wembley and it's something to look forward to.
03:15It's an FA Cup route, so you would have been up for playing if it was allowed and they said, yeah, fine.
03:21Yeah, yeah. Obviously, it's a rule, so I can't play, but I reckon if it wasn't, they probably wouldn't let me play.
03:30But if you made of Jadon, you've been a young lad going on long and the maturity he's showing is amazing.
03:36Yeah, at that age, I wasn't as mature as Jadon, I'll be honest. He's so mature and he's technically really good.
03:45His mindset for the age he is, you know, I was playing League 2 at that age and he's in the Championship.
03:51So, you know, he's flying and long may it continue for him. He's doing really well.
03:56Are you ready for a break? You know, you might only get a few days, but it's intense.
04:00Yeah, I think a break's good, you know, just get the feet up, rest, recover.
04:05I think it's needed with the amount of games, obviously, that are in the Championship and with the FA Cup games as well.
04:11So I think with the Villa game coming up, you know, a few of the lads will probably need a bit of rest and get ready for that one, a big one.
04:19Do you think Preston's a club you'll always kind of keep an eye on for whatever happens after this season?
04:23Yeah, 100 per cent. I have a deep connection with this club now from the time I've been here.
04:29And like I say, I don't mean it lightly when I say I've loved my time here, do you know what I mean?
04:35So I've fully enjoyed it, fully enjoyed the players, the staff, the fans. And yeah, I'm just going to cherish it until the end of the season.
