Protest about telegraph poles in Garforth

00:00Okay, I'm Liz Taylor, I chaired the public meeting we had for residents two weeks

00:06ago. We had over 200 people there. The issue is putting up these telegraph

00:15poles when we don't need them. We've not needed them for the 50 years the

00:19estate has been built. There is already full fibre connection underground but

00:25these folk are trying to find a cheaper option clearly. Richard Berg and our MP

00:31has done a marvellous job down in Parliament, he'll tell you more about

00:34that. And Anthony, he has set up the Garforth.org website which has been kind

00:41of the conduit for people to get their information.
