00:00Hello there, good afternoon. It's going to be another day of sunny spells and showers,
00:06particularly once again around North Sea coast. Plenty of showers moving through here and
00:10eventually through the course of the day we'll see some move further inland too. The best
00:14of the brightness likely across western areas, so Northern Ireland, western parts of Wales,
00:18parts of Devon and Cornwall seeing a largely dry day. The bulk of the showers around eastern
00:23coasts and the odd shower could be heavy and likely still seeing some snow, particularly
00:27across high ground in Scotland, for example. But the difference compared to yesterday
00:32is that the winds are a little bit lighter, so temperatures still widely just below average
00:36for the time of year. Highs of around eight to nine Celsius, but in the lighter winds
00:40and where you catch the sunshine, it should still feel pleasant for the time of year.
00:45Now through into the evening, we are still going to see a fair few showers once again
00:49skirting into eastern coast or plenty of showers moving through into Scotland, where once again
00:53they could be heavy and likely bringing snow across the highlands, perhaps even some
00:57flurries to lower levels, too, but a few more clearer skies across parts of the south.
01:02That means temperatures are soon going to dip away overnight and feeling very cold and
01:06likely to see quite a widespread frost across southern areas. But it's like difference in
01:10the north, bit more cloud here, so perhaps not turning quite as chilly here as it did
01:13last night and even seeing a few mist and fog patches through the course of the night
01:18too. So a cold start for many, particularly across the south, likely be scraping your
01:24cars off in the morning. And once again, we're going to see a fairly similar day.
01:27More showers, particularly along those eastern coasts where it's the main firing line for
01:31those showers and then drifting through inland through the course of the day. Once again,
01:35the best of the dry weather in western areas. But those winds still saying lightening between
01:40those showers once again, lots of bright and sunny spells. So a fairly similar day with
01:44highs around eight to nine Celsius into the evening. We should see most of those showers
01:50die away, perhaps still a few across those North Sea coasts once again, and still a chance
01:55of some frost, perhaps even some ice patches and some mist and fog as we head through into
01:59Friday evening and start the beginning of the weekend. But high pressure building more
02:03and more into Saturday as it drifts its way eastward. So lots of dry weather as we head
02:08towards the weekend. But notice we still remain in that cold pool of air, so still feeling
02:13quite chilly at times, particularly across the southeast, where we start to see a bit
02:16of an easterly set up by the time we reach Saturday and Sunday. So still feeling cold,
02:21but likely seeing quite a dry weekend. Bye bye for now.
