(Adnkronos) - “Questo incontro è un momento di riflessione sulle politiche per garantire la parità di genere e combattere ogni forma di discriminazione sul posto di lavoro dentro e fuori all’Istituto. Sono anni che si adottano politica concrete ed è attivo il CUG. L’anno scorso ci sono stati due fatti importanti: la costituzione di un comitato guida, che coinvolge le più importanti funzioni dell’istituto e che monitora i risultati dell’istituto ogni anno pre promuovere la parità di genere.” Ha dichiarato Giuseppe Conte, Direttore Centrale Risorse Umane di INPS a margine del convegno “Diversità, pari opportunità e lavoro: diritti e nuove sfide” tenutosi alla sede INPS di Palazzo Wedekind a Roma.

00:00This meeting is an important moment of reflection on the policies aimed at guaranteeing gender equality and, in general, at combating any form of discrimination on jobs, both in general in public companies and, in particular, within the Institute.
00:23The Institute has long believed in these policies and therefore adopted concrete measures in support of these policies.
00:31For years now, the United Guaranty Committee has been active, which is made up of representatives of the administration and trade unions.
00:40Last year, in particular, we had two important events, two important events, that is, the formation of a guidance committee, which sees involved all the most important functions of the Institute, which monitors and guarantees that the results of the programs that the Institute imposes every year are actually achieved, to promote gender equality and positive actions against discrimination.
01:06Last year, the Institute was the first public Italian administration to be certified as an administration that pursues gender equality policies.
01:16All this therefore favors a very careful and concrete monitoring of respect for gender equality, for example, starting with retributions, where we remain firm on the principle that, among other things, public employment is also easier,
01:32the principle for which there is no difference in the retribution between men and women, but we must look at whether there are situations that can still discriminate, for example, with reference to the organizational positions that in fact are created to the conditions so that everyone, regardless of gender, can participate and therefore can also grow economically.
01:55Therefore, there is a very careful monitoring that guarantees that the principles that we often proclaim and on which we always agree are then concretely implemented.
