00:43of urban and green spaces and attractions like the Black Country Living Museum, the

00:47borough remains popular with families and commuters.

00:51In Birmingham, house prices have climbed by nearly 66% over 10 years with the average

00:56home now costing just over £240,000. As the UK's second city continues to expand,

01:02demand for housing remains high, particularly in areas undergoing regeneration.

01:08South Staffordshire rounds up the top five with prices rising by around 65%. Known for

01:13its countryside and good transport links, the area has become increasingly attractive

01:18to those looking for a quieter lifestyle while still being within reach of Birmingham and

01:23Wolverhampton. These increases reflect wider trends in the

01:26region where growing demand, new developments and improved infrastructure have played a

01:31part in rising property values. But with affordability becoming a challenge, the question now is

01:37whether house prices will continue to climb at this rate in the years ahead.
