00:00Celtic are safely into the semi-finals of this year's Scottish Cup after beating
00:07Hibs 2-0 at Parkhead. Goals from Dijon Maida in the 38th minute and then one from Adam Ida
00:14in the second minute of second half stoppage time sealed their passage on a competitive but
00:19barely one-sided cup tie here in the east end of Glasgow. Hibs backed by a 7,000 strong away
00:27support played their part in terms of effort but lacked a little endeavour against a motivated and
00:33well-drilled Celtic team who would have won by more had it not been for an excellent show of
00:37goalkeeping from Jordan Smith. Hibs' run of 15 games unbeaten is now over, no real surprise
00:45against a Celtic team that were hell-bent on revenge after losing to Hibs 2-1 at Eastrow
00:50just a couple of weeks ago. The treble is very much on for Brendan Rodgers' team after a comfortable
00:562-0 win here at Celtic Park.
