00:09The game I watched was between Livy and Hibs.
00:12Easter Roadside winning comfortably by two goals to nil.
00:15Fairly straightforward victory you'd say for David Gray's side.
00:20They made a lot of changes.

00:24Gave a debut to Miguel Chaiwa in midfield.
00:26He was hugely impressive.
00:28Record sign Thibault Klietje scored his first goal.
00:32He was given a start alongside Martin Boyle.
00:34Played pretty well.
00:36I thought Livingston huffed and puffed about really doing very much.
00:39Probably could have played all night and not from the net.
00:41Hibs are very strong.
00:42Grant Hanley impressive at centre half.
00:44And their reward for getting through is a tie against Rangers at Ibrox.
00:47Really the pick of the quarterfinal line-up.
00:50I think what really pleased Hibs head coach David Gray though
00:53is the fact that his team played so well with multiple changes
00:56and also their gruelling schedule.
00:58Less than 72 hours earlier they were facing part of San Belgrade
01:02in extra time in the conference league.
01:04And Gray took a bit of a gamble you would say by making so many changes
01:07but ultimately it paid off for them.
01:09It's Europe again for Hibs on Thursday.
01:11They take on Ligia Warsaw in the playoff round.
01:14That first leg is East Road on Thursday.
01:15Then they actually have a weekend off before heading over to Poland.
01:18I'm sure Gray will enjoy having a bit of time for his team to recover.
01:22They've been on a gruelling schedule.
01:23I think many thought they might slip up here against Livingston
01:26who have started the season really, really well.
01:28But as David Martindale said afterwards,
01:30this is a reminder of how good Livy have to be to compete with some of the better teams in the top flight.
01:36As he pointed out, they've only played Ross County, St Johnston who were relegated last year
01:41and teams from the bottom six so far in this campaign.
01:45And while Livy looked very organised, they believed in a little more firepower
01:49against higher calibre opposition.
01:52Elsewhere, Dundee United, their European exertions did not help them.
01:57Even suspected Kilmarnock, they lost to Killy.
01:59So it's Killy that will go on to play St Mirren in the quarter-finals after they prevailed at Rugby Park.
02:04But here in the sunshine in West Ludvian, it was all smiles for Hibbs.
02:07A 2-0 victory over Livingston.
