00:07In brushing off speculation about forging electoral pacts with other parties, the former

00:12Sabah chief minister said Warisan is a multiracial party that served all Sabahans, The Star reported.

00:19He said they will contest as a party and their pact is with the people, adding that multiracial

00:24parties such as Berjaya and Parti Bersatu Sabah had previously won and formed state governments in Sabah.

00:31Shafi said a single-party government is not new to Sabah and although Warisan may not

00:36have the finances, they are offering themselves to the people.

00:40Shafi's announcement follows Sabah Barisan Nasional's decision yesterday to uphold its

00:45alliance with Pakatan Harapan counterparts in the coming state assembly elections.

00:50The current Sabah government has until October before the state assembly must be dissolved to make way for fresh elections.
