00:00Good evening. A world in flux and flex mode. We're all watching with rapt attention the
00:14antics of a hyperactive, omnimedia-present president talking about everything, everywhere,
00:25all at once. The 24-hour news channel that is the White House. Everything we know or
00:33take for granted is up for grabs. From the sanity of borders, to diplomatic decorum,
00:42to the premium of being good, to the authority of long-respected international bodies. Bodies
00:49like the UN, the WHO, Climate Accord, that we have created a framework for our world
00:57to live in peace and prosperity. Throw into this mix AI that is raising searing, piercing,
01:06existential questions at the heart of it all. What does it mean to be human? Are we just
01:14a sum total of our thoughts? Just a pimped-up, large-language model, really? In which case,
01:22can we live forever in a machine? Or are we the body that can be hacked to never die?
01:30And you have a heady cocktail. It feels a bit chaotic, but I think two things thrive
01:37in chaos. Newsrooms and Indians. Newsrooms are wired to revel in the unpredictable, in
01:46change, in breaking news. Nothing gets us as excited and moving like being in the forefront
01:54of an unfolding situation. And the world today is an unfolding of gigantic proportions. The
02:03age of acceleration, where everything as you know it is being appended. So many unanswered
02:10questions, a breaking news bonanza. The second category that thrives in chaos is Indians.
02:19We love the chaotic energy of a cum, a big fat wedding, and unpredictable geopolitical
02:27situations. No rules and no lines is when the Indian national character is best at display.
02:35We are champions of chaos. When there is no plan, we shine. Chaos is the most fertile
02:43ground for jugaad. We are the jadoogars of jugaad. It is what makes us master innovators.
02:52I find myself fortunately heading an Indian newsroom in the very best of times. The icing
03:00on this cake, having 50 years of credibility and supportive sponsors. In times of chaos,
03:07you rely only on those that you trust and those that can navigate you through this turbulence.
03:13An Indian newsroom with credibility. It seems like I have all the cards. Enough words. Let
03:21me show you a sample of some of the mind-blowing innovation from my incredible team.
03:51I have a song for you. I want you to sing with me.
04:21I can listen to this song all day long. It's such a beautiful song.
04:36It's right in the genre that I listen to in general.
04:40You like it?
04:41I loved it.
04:42Will this song feature in your playlist?
04:45Obviously.
04:46This would be in my playlist, yeah. For sure.
04:49Yeah, there's a separate playlist that I have getting ready. Playlist, I would definitely add it to that.
04:53I was about to ask, where will I get this song now?
05:00And here is the big reveal at the Conclave, specially for our favourite audience.
05:08Aishan is AI.
05:13So, shall we meet him? Let's get Aishan on a call, guys.
05:27Hi, ma'am.
05:28Hi, Aishan. How's fame treating you?
05:32Just trying to soak it all in. It's just been some exciting days. I'm super grateful for it.
05:39I know people are loving your sound. What do you think clicked?
05:47Old love is the feeling which all of us have been through.
05:52Old love is just like a hot cup of tea on a winter morning.
05:56It's just an irresistible feeling that we all go through.
06:01Aishan, you are such a charmer. Best of luck. I hope you find some new love too this year.
06:09Ladies and gentlemen, that was Aishan, our first AI-generated pop star.
06:19Everything about him, his looks, his voice, his music, his video is AI-generated.
06:26His smile, oh my God, his smile too is AI-generated.
06:31Two years ago, if you recall from the same platform, we had launched India's first AI news anchor, SANA.
06:39And we have not stopped since then.
06:41Today with Aishan, we are taking another leap.
06:44We're introducing a new genre of music for the world.
06:48We call it A-pop.
06:50A-pop is not robotic. It is humans partnering with machines to create a new sound.
06:57Lyrics written by humans, composed by AI, sung by AI, or sometimes the other way around.
07:04A-pop is fluid.
07:06It's electronic, it's collaborative, it's the new frontier of music.
07:12Aishan is our first AI pop star, but he won't be alone.
07:16Joining him today is the electrifying female pop star, Roo,
07:21with her foot-tapping single, Rehna Tere Saath.
07:25As we speak, Roo is actually opening for real-life Honey Singh in concert in Indore.
07:34Welcome Roo.
08:06Her music is very addictive and it gets stuck.
08:09I bet you will be humming it tonight.
08:11Do listen to the full songs and watch the full music video using the QR code on your tables.
08:17As you know, AI doesn't eat, drink, or sleep.
08:21A little bit like the BJP.
08:23So they are on to their new projects.
08:27I am excited to see what comes out of this collaboration.
08:30It is an exciting journey ahead and today is just day one.
08:35Now, in conclusion, I want to remind you
08:39the rarest mineral of all on this earth is your attention and your time.
08:46Everyone is out to get it, from the politicians to the tech oligarchs.
08:53And it's in short supply.
08:55Basic economics.
08:57I ask you to raise your price.
09:00Negotiate hard.
09:02Make the best deal you can.
09:04Spend your time and attention on things that value you.
09:09Enhance you.
09:11Respect you.
09:13Augment you.
09:15Not the ones that make you a commodity and sell you without your permission.
09:21Today, you did well by choosing to spend your time with us.
09:26I hope we continue to make ourselves worthy of your time and attention.
09:31I know our gala finale speaker, the CM of UP, Yogi Adityanath ji, does.
09:39Yogi ji, aapka India Today Conclave mein maha kumwala swagat hai.
09:45Thank you everyone. Have a good evening.
