00:00The number of Filipinos who have jobs increased in the first month of the year compared to the same period in 2024.

00:18According to the Philippine Statistics Authority or PSA, many Filipinos are looking for jobs in the first month of the year

00:24while lowering the total number of unemployed and underemployed in the country.

00:29The employment rate of the entire Philippines increased by 95.7% in January 2025.

00:34More than 48.49 million Filipinos have higher jobs than in January 2024 at 95.5%.

00:43Meanwhile, the unemployment rate of the country decreased by 4.3% in January 2025 from 4.5% last year.

00:52The underemployment rate also decreased by 13.3% from 13.7%.

02:06such as the Enterprise-Based Education and Training Program of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, or TESDA.

02:12In order to facilitate business in the Philippines,
