00:12More than 400,000 Filipinos have left the under-employment status

00:24Based on the results of the survey,
00:265.35 million Filipinos are now in the under-employment status.
00:31This is falling compared to the number of 5.79 million Filipinos in the country in November 2023.
00:39The transportation and storage is increasing.
00:41We have a decrease in the number of under-employed, around 144,000.
00:47And the big contributor is passenger land transport.
00:51This is also one of the contributors to the increase in the number of unemployed persons.
00:56Of course, this is related to activities during the holiday season.
01:03More than 170,000 Filipinos are now in the under-employment status.
01:12Based on the survey, 1.66 million Filipinos are now in the under-employment status.
01:17This is falling compared to the number of 1.83 million Filipinos in the country in November 2023.
01:25According to the PSA, those working in the agricultural sector are the largest number of unemployed persons.
01:33Based on the survey, more than 1.99 million farmers and fishermen have lost their jobs.

01:44However, the number of manufacturing and accommodation services workers and wage and salary workers is increasing.

02:38According to the PSA, five major industries increased the number of employment in the country in November 2024.
02:46These are manufacturing, accommodation and food service activities,
