00:00Earlier, you mentioned Rasmus Christensen, which is the first time his name has been

00:09mentioned on this podcast in a while.

00:11What is the latest there, Graham?

00:13Because obviously there have been reports in Germany that fees have been agreed and

00:17whatnot.

00:18As we understand it, you know, they're only in talks, leads, with Antrac Frankfurt where

00:22he's currently on loan.

00:23But yeah, what's the lay of the land there with Rasmus?

00:27He's expected to leave this summer, so it's only a case of when, not if, and it feels

00:33very likely that it'll be Antrac Frankfurt because you not only have a club there who

00:37want to keep him, you have a player there who probably has found a home and wants to

00:42stay there.

00:43And they're doing very well for themselves in the Bundesliga.

00:47So I just think that one will just happen.

00:51It'd be very surprising, actually, if he went somewhere else at this stage.

00:54I think it's probably just a case of drilling down into the numbers like an infuriated

00:58Theopathetus and then they'll find a number that fits.

01:02I do just want to add a little bit of context to the reports that Florian Plettenberg, the

01:07Sky Germany reporter, was saying that negotiations between Eintracht and Leeds were at sort of

01:15a five million pound mark, potentially rising to 6.6.

01:19I think speculating here, Plettenberg may have got his information from somebody high

01:26up at Eintracht and given that there was a purchase option pre-agreed in Christensen's

01:33loan deal, which is significantly greater than the five million fee that Sky Germany

01:39have reported, there could be a bit of gamesmanship there on Eintracht's part to maybe try and

01:45force the hand and get a bit more of a discounted deal, because I think the purchase option

01:52was closer to what Leeds paid for Christensen, which was 11 million, just shy of that.

01:57So I can see why the Bundesliga club would be a bit more open to discussing the specific

02:05terms and details of their negotiations with Leeds.
