Opposition KMT Proposes Increasing Salary Budget to US$1.35 Billion

Taiwan's main opposition Kuomintang Party (KMT) has proposed increasing salaries for compulsory and voluntary service soldiers. The proposed increase will push up the military salary budget to US$1.35 billion.
