The US House of Representatives has passed its version of an annual defense spending bill. The NDAA authorizes close to US$900 billion in military funding for next year and puts an upper limit of US$1 billion in funding for a security cooperation program with Taiwan. House members rejected amendments that would block funding to Taiwan and Ukraine.
