Flooding in Jakarta leaves submerged houses and chest-deep water

Houses in parts of Indonesia's capital are submerged up to their roofs, and residents wade through chest-deep floodwater as torrential rain hits Bogor, an area south of Jakarta. Over a thousand residents have been affected, according to the local disaster mitigation agency, leaving many temporarily displaced.
