00:00Ukraine's authorities reported drone attacks by Russian forces on two of their largest
00:06cities on Wednesday, causing casualties and damage to properties.
00:11In Kriukivshchina in the Kiev region, the overnight attack claimed one life, injured
00:16two people and set several houses on fire.
00:20We hear the sound of a shahed, and it gets closer and closer, and I shout,
00:28children, to the corridor, urgently!
00:31And they run out, and there is a bang, and something, you know,
00:35like from the facade of the house, something flies, falls.
00:38I say, my God, they hit the house.
00:40This resident said the explosion was scary, but she added that Ukrainian forces will win
00:45in the battle with Russia, and everything will be OK again.
00:50Meanwhile in Kharkiv, no fatalities were reported, but two people were injured.
00:59Residents questioned why Russia attacked their neighborhood, even though it has no military
01:04assets, and the civilians are all terrorized by the attacks.
01:16Authorities said the region surrounding Kharkiv and eastern Ukraine were under air raid alerts
01:26for several hours, starting Tuesday night.
01:29Ukraine's air defenses shot down 110 of the 177 drones launched by Russia
01:35in the overnight attacks.
01:37The Russia-Ukraine war started in February 2022, following the invasion by the Russian forces.
