A Russian missile attack on Kyiv killed one man and injured three other people overnight, causing damage and fires in several districts in the biggest such attack on Ukraine for weeks, said Ukrainian officials on April 6. 00:09Authorities said at least three districts in the Ukrainian capital were hit while a

00:14person was killed, and the number of injured victims stood at three and counting.

00:20Alerts and warnings were issued to residents prior to the attacks, with the city government

00:25telling them to stay in their shelters at underground metro stations.

00:29Ukraine's air force said they shot down 13 of 23 missiles and 40 of 109 drones launched

00:36by Russia in the overnight attacks.

00:38The attacks also occurred in the southern region of Mykolaiv, where three people were

00:44A day earlier, at least 19 people, including nine children, were killed in Krivyi Rih.
