00:00More than 4,000 DAP representatives will gather on March 16 to elect 30 members who will

00:07take on the position of the Executive Power of the Party Center for the next three years.

00:12The elected members will then determine the party leadership for the 2025-2028 cycle.

00:19An important period precedes the general election, which is expected to be held as late as November 2027.

00:26Sumber expects the DAP leader Lim Guan Eng to get a place in the CEC,

00:31but he may face difficulties in obtaining sufficient votes to retain his position as party leader.

00:38According to Sumber again, there are both inside and outside parties who want to terminate Lim's political career

00:44and he cannot defend his position without strong support.

00:48It is said that Lim does not yet have the support of the DAP Chief Executive Officer Luk Siew Fok

00:52and DAP Chairperson Pera Ngakomeng, who has a great influence in determining the party's election decision.

01:26but he still needs support from 6 to 8 experts in Kemlok and Ngak to maintain his position.
