00:11In a letter to New York Governor Kathy Hochul on Wednesday,

00:14U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said, quote,

00:17New York State's congestion pricing plan is a slap in the face

00:21to working class Americans and small business owners.

00:25The program, which went into effect on January 5th,

00:28created a $9 toll for drivers entering Manhattan south of 60th Street during peak hours.

00:35It's not clear from the letter when the federal government will end the program.

00:39New York State is challenging the decision.
