00:00Cesar Chavez became the acting secretary of the Presidential Communications Office.

00:06He signed the seal on a message that he filed his irrevocable resignation on February 5, 2025.

00:13His departure was effective on February 28, 2025 or earlier if there is a new replacement.

00:19Chavez thanked President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for the opportunity to serve the government.

00:25He said that the trust of the executive board is his pride.

00:29To clarify, Chavez will remain a supporter of the administration.

00:33He will continue his service to the country even if he is no longer in the government.

00:38On the other hand, Chavez also admitted his reluctance because the expectations of him were not met.

00:45In September, Chavez was appointed as the head of the PCO.

00:48Before that, he was appointed as the Presidential Assistant for Strategic Communications under the Office of the President.

00:54He became the Undersecretary of the Transportation Department

00:57and he has a long career as a veteran.
