00:00One more week of busy activities of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:06Let's go back to The President in Action with Kenneth Paciente's report.

00:14On the first day of the week, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. attended a flag raising ceremony in Malacanang.

00:20Here, he introduced the members of the Office of the President to their role in the success of the O.P. this year.

00:28President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. also attended a thanksgiving event with First Lady Luisa Raneta Marcos Jr.

00:32and other sectors that have been supporting the government's goals for the past year.

00:37President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. also attended a thanksgiving event in Malacanang Press Corps

00:40where he held a year-end fellowship.

00:42He introduced the members of the O.P. to their commitment in delivering accurate and timely information to the public.

00:49Last night, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visited the Parangal Gawad ng Kahusayan sa Komunikasyong pang Publiko

00:53at the head office of the Presidential Communications Office.

00:56This is an activity that introduces the government's individuals and agencies to their communication programs.

01:03On Tuesday, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. held the 23rd NEDA Board Meeting in Malacanang

01:07where he approved the main irrigation and bridge projects,

01:12including the P37 billion Ilocos Norte-Ilocos Sur-Abra Irrigation Project

01:18and the Accelerated Bridge Construction Project for Greater Economic Mobility and Calamity Response or ABC Project.

01:24After that, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the inauguration of the new Philippine One-Stop Shop OFW Action Center

01:30where different services for OFWs can be found.

01:34The Chief Executive's gate is a gateway for the government to facilitate the life of OFWs,

01:40especially when it comes to their documents.

01:43President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. also led the Christmas gift for the OFW family

01:48that brings joy and happiness to OFWs and their families.

01:52Here, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. also reaffirmed the government's efforts

01:55to ensure the safety and well-being of modern-day heroes.

02:00On Wednesday, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. signed the five infrastructure projects of the Department of Transportation

02:06that will further strengthen tourism and improve the transport system, especially in Visayas and Mindanao.

02:12Here, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured that the government will remain committed to the construction of projects

02:17that will bring prosperity to Filipinos.

02:19The Chief Executive also led a meeting with government key officials

02:24to discuss the national budget for the next year to evaluate it

02:29and to ensure that the budget meets the national priorities for the country's development.

02:35On Thursday, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. joined the Change of Command of the Philippine Air Force

02:38that is now led by Lieutenant General Arthur Cordura,

02:42following the retirement of the former Commanding General of PAF, Lieutenant General Stephen Pareño.

02:48Here, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. appreciated the success of PAF under the leadership of Lieutenant General Stephen Pareño

02:53and the institution that continues to carry out its mandate,

02:58especially in ensuring the territorial integrity of the country.

03:01President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. also received Japanese National Security Advisor Akiba Takeo

03:05in a courtesy call in Malacanang.

03:08Here, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. emphasized the importance of establishing a strong relationship

03:12between the Philippines and Japan in the field of defense and security,

03:16especially in the middle of issues related to the West Philippine Sea.

03:20President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. was also welcomed by the Philippine Central Bank

03:24with the new design of money

03:26where animals and plants can be found in the Philippines

03:29that reflects the country's rich biodiversity.

03:33And because of the new security features of these funds,

03:36the President also gave more importance to the money that the Filipinos are struggling with.

03:41On Friday, the Executive Board held the 89th Anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

03:49The President praised the achievements of the AFP along with their efforts here

03:53to continue the integrity and reputation of the institution

03:57while ensuring the continued support of the government

04:01in the military strength of the Philippines.
