00:00The BYU beat Kansas last night, 91 to 57.

00:05This was the worst loss in Kansas history

00:08as a ranked team versus an unranked opponent.

00:11BYU's the only team in the last seven years

00:13to lead Kansas by more than 35.

00:15It's Kansas' second Big 12 loss by 30 or more

00:19in the Bill Self era.

00:22Not a good scene for the Jayhawks.

00:24Bill Self says, man, we just got to get away from each other

00:28and regroup for a few days.

00:30I know you mentioned before the game

00:31that you felt like you were talked out

00:33and you had said a lot of different things.

00:35Yeah, I'm talked out. I'm talked out.

00:37When you're at that point, I mean,

00:38how tough is it to continue having to talk to your team?

00:41Well, the thing about it, we need to regroup,

00:42you know, get away from each other for a day

00:44and go home and hopefully be able to,

00:48you know, a lot of times with teams,

00:50there needs to be something happen

00:52to pull everybody together that is us against the outside.

00:58And, you know, we're going to have an opportunity

01:00to do that for sure.

01:01So a lot of teams go through it.

01:03We just haven't been through it much at all in a long time.

01:06So, but certainly we're going to go through it this time.

01:11You know, I got to be honest with you.

01:13You know, Rock Chalk, you know, my arse.

01:17You know, I'm not a fan of them and I never have been.

01:21Although I've been there before.

01:23When Larry Brown was coaching there, I was friends with him

01:28and I went to Lawrence to interview him.

01:30And it's a cool place.

01:32I won't deny that Fogg Island's an institution

01:35in college basketball.

01:36It's a top, you know, bucket list place

01:39to go to a game for sure.

01:41It's quite an atmosphere, but I'm not, I'm not a fan.

01:44Like, you know, this is real simple here.

01:47I'm an Indiana basketball fan and nothing else.

01:51That's it.

01:52I mean, I like St. John's

01:53when they're playing well here in New York.

01:55I'm excited about that.

01:57I'm not into any other teams.

01:59And I, you know, I've never been a real St. John's fan.

02:03I am now, the way they're playing

02:04and I'm rooting for Luke's team.

02:05I like Rick Pitino.

02:06I always have.

02:08I think he's a great coach, but I'm an Indiana guy.

02:11Indiana fans don't root for other teams, ever.

02:14No.

02:15And as I always, I'm not the biggest Kansas guy either.

02:18And they've won enough.

02:20I'm glad they're losing.

02:22I love it.

02:22They can have a down year for once.

02:24Let's see them have to pull themselves back together

02:27after a down year.
