00:00Yeah, it's I would say impossible to be able to shoot again the way that Alabama did last night

00:06against anybody. I don't think they can possibly do that again. They hit an NCAA tournament record

00:1225 three-pointers. Mark Sears hit 10 of them. He had 34 points. Threes were raining everywhere.

00:20Westwood won sports. Alabama's got 94 points with 748 left to play. I try to paint the picture.

00:35for three-pointers made by a team in the tournament. 22 of them for Alabama. He has nine.

00:43They've made their last six in a row. You know, listen Mike, I don't know how many times I can

00:49say this. The key to the game was you got one guy doing that and then you got two other guys doing

00:53it as well. They were all three of them were daggers. I thought the kid Holloway, I mean,

00:59they just didn't guard him. He was literally spotting up from three like he was shooting

01:06free throws. Like he was standing there, no one on him at all the whole game. They couldn't worry

01:12about him and he had a big game. Same thing that happens when I play. They don't worry about the

01:17old guy. We can't guard him when there's four D1 players on the floor. I'm not guarding that old

01:22Pharrell. He sucks. And then I just, I hit nine of 11. Like you just leave me alone. I'll shoot

01:27layups. This guy Holloway had open looks all nine long and he was roasting their onions. I thought

01:35that kid was the difference. Let alone Youngblood. Christ almighty, you get three guys scoring like

01:40that, you're not going to lose. Not going to lose. Alabama head coach Nate Oates. He was loving every

01:46second of it. Told Mark he's playing chess, not checkers. He just kind of set everybody up with

01:51that five of 35 thinking he was in a slump and he's going to come out, shoot like 63% ain't bad.

01:59So 10 threes. I think first guy in NCAA tournament history I was told that had at least eight threes

02:04and seven assists. So you know not only was he scoring it, he was moving it. Helps to get assists

02:08when you got guys like Cy and Aiden Holloway making shots like they did too. So between these

02:16three guys we had 21 threes. It's you know we've hit 22 before a couple times I think. I think

02:24maybe 23. We've never hit 25. So listen this guy, think about it. DeBoer and this guy Oates make a

02:31ton of money in Tuscaloosa. They get every player they want. They got deep southern pockets and it's

02:39still a football school. Believe me you, it will never be a basketball school even though it

02:49already is. They don't want to admit it down there because all they care about is football. But they

02:55are so g-damn good at basketball now. They're back. I mean they are back in the elite eight

03:00and they're on the precipice of going to the final four again. This guy is a great coach

03:07and he knows it.
