00:00And women are feeling oriented in their communication.
00:03So, when a woman is sharing with you how she feels,
00:07she's telling you how she may feel in the moment.
00:10And so, in the midst of an argument or something,
00:12she may say something based upon how she feels at that moment,
00:16but that man hears it and takes it literally
00:19and will hold on to it for years.
00:22And so, sometimes we build up all of this resentment
00:25and this bitterness and this frustration
00:27about something that somebody said in 1952
00:29that we still held on to because we were very literal
00:33in what we heard our partner say.
00:35But if we realize that we just communicate differently,
00:38it'll help us to effectively engage in conversation
00:41that makes sense.
