00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has been busy this week.

00:04Among his visitors are job fairs that aim to address not only the loss of jobs,

00:11but also the job mismatch in the country.

00:15The activities of the President this week.

00:17Let's go back to the story of Kenneth Paciente.

00:21President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. was warmly welcomed by the Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet

00:30during his state visit to the country.

00:32His housemate, First Lady Pich Chan Munik, was also there.

00:35An arrival oner was called to the Cambodian official

00:38and a series of meetings were held

00:41where the President and the Prime Minister discussed

00:44the strengthening of the relationship between the two countries

00:47through the strengthening of defense, law, transnational crimes, and multilateral cooperation.

00:56The President also led the Proclamation Rally of the Alliance for a New Philippines in the North Ilocos

01:02along with the formal start of the campaign period for the HATL of BAYAN 2025.

01:07The President also emphasized the importance of the candidates' commitment

01:11that it will be a big role to ensure the change and well-being of the Filipinos.

01:16The President said that the candidates in the alliance

01:20showed dedication through the extensive service

01:23to the various tasks of the government

01:26and remained steadfast in using their knowledge

01:29for the continued development of the country.

01:32On Wednesday, the President attended the General Assembly of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines

01:38where he recognized the role of the local governments

01:41that he is the first to respond to the needs of the communities

01:44along with the continued efforts of the national government

01:48to improve the LGUs, especially in the speed of service

01:53as well as the implementation of the Electronic Business One-Stop Shop and ELGU platform.

01:59The President also thanked the Cambodian Ambassador to the Philippines Phan Poov for a farewell call

02:04because of his important role in strengthening the relationship between the two countries

02:09especially in terms of trade and investment

02:12that has been greatly benefited by Cambodia and the Philippines.

02:15The President also addressed the work for the new Philippines Job Fair

02:19where he pointed out that one of the issues that the government is currently addressing is the job mismatch.

02:24He also reiterated that the government is fully committed to improving the lives of Filipinos

02:30by providing jobs

02:32as well as providing services such as Kadiwa Stores

02:36and providing cash payouts to the beneficiaries of various programs of the DSWD.

02:42He also encouraged the local chief executives

02:45to attend the Regional Development Council meeting

02:47that is still under consideration by the national government

02:51for the rapid implementation of the infrastructure projects of their area.

02:55The President's point is that they are the ones who are more aware of the needs of their area

03:07the problems they see in the projects so that they can be solved immediately.
