00:00Let's talk about the Chiefs.

00:01How do they nicely push Travis Kelsey out the door

00:05because he's shot?

00:07Yeah, it's really interesting.

00:11For many years, Scott, Kelsey was unstoppable.

00:15But from talking to players, tight ends and receivers,

00:19when they're in their 30s, as they progress in their 30s,

00:23their legs just go.

00:24Like, when you lose your legs, your ability to be explosive,

00:29you've got to call it quits.

00:30And if you would have asked me this three or four weeks ago,

00:32I would have said, nah, there's been no hint of it.

00:35But he slowed down.

00:36Scott, first time in his career for a season,

00:38he averaged less than 10 yards per catch.

00:408 and 1 half yards per catch is really low.

00:42Now, the Chiefs don't really have his replacement.

00:44They've got Jared Wiley, who is what we call an inline tight

00:47end, a wide tight end, who suffered a torn ACL, I'm told,

00:51in a Friday practice.

00:52Noah Gray's a pretty good athlete,

00:54but he's really not a starting tight end.

00:56So they've got some issues at tight end.

00:57They will be.

00:59Well, they're going to have to combine those two guys

01:03together, because they still need to help a tight end.

01:05But the big thing is, Scott, one of the biggest reasons

01:08why they got smoked by the Eagles

01:10is they don't have a left tackle.

01:11They moved Joe Tooney from left guard to left tackle.

01:15He's not a left tackle.

01:16He struggled mightily.

01:17You saw him get pushed back.

01:19Their offensive line, who is horrendous,

01:22they need a left tackle in the worst way.

01:23They need corners.

01:25They need to help Trent McDuffie.

01:26They've got to make a decision with McDuffie.

01:28He's a full-time outside corner.

01:29He was the best nickel in the National Football League

01:31previously this season.

01:32But now they've been playing him on the outside,

01:34so they've got to do that.

01:36So they need a left tackle.

01:37They need a tight end, and they need a corner.

01:39So they've got a lot of work to do.

01:41The Eagles have more key free agents than the Chiefs do.

01:44But for the Chiefs, man, they're just not the same.

01:48I think what happened, Scott, when

01:50we analyzed what happened to the Chiefs this season,

01:52only two games of 30 points or more.

01:54One of them was in the playoffs.

01:56They've been on a steady regression offensively,

01:58and they've got to get this thing on the right path.

02:00Yeah, the only game they scored 30-plus,

02:03it was the Bills game of all games.

02:06Now that Buffalo gives up that big amount,

02:08it was unbelievable.
