00:00I love the idea of Aaron Rodgers continuing to play for the Steelers just because it's

00:08the Steelers and they go to the playoffs every year and maybe they get better at the quarterback

00:15position but then again maybe he's not the entity he once was.

00:20Do you think that he wants any part of the Raiders or Tennessee or whatever places have

00:27been rumored?

00:28Would that be a much better landing spot?

00:31I think the Steelers make the most sense.

00:33They have shifted into a one-year-at-a-time mode, employing veteran quarterbacks while

00:40they wait for their next young potential franchise quarterback.

00:44It didn't work with Kenny Pickett.

00:46They tried to have the baton pass from Ben Roethlisberger to Pickett.

00:49After two years, Pickett was out.

00:51Russell Wilson, Justin Fields.

00:54I think, based upon what team owner Art Rooney has said, I know one or the other is going

00:59to be gone.

01:00Maybe both will be gone.

01:01Rodgers makes the most sense.

01:02He's better than either guy for one year.

01:04Justin Fields may have a higher ceiling and maybe go Rodgers and Fields.

01:08Fields may have opportunities elsewhere but Rodgers makes sense because he's still got

01:12gas in the tank.

01:13He still can throw it and I think Mike Tomlin, one of the rare coaches who can maybe nudge

01:18him the right way.

01:20Tomlin has done a great job over the years of controlling difficult personalities and

01:24few are more difficult, frankly, than the delicate genius known as Aaron Rodgers.

01:28So I think it makes the most sense for him, it makes the most sense for them, and it allows

01:33him to finish his career with something better than what we've seen the last two seasons.

01:39That's why the Raiders don't make any sense.

01:40Why would you want to go there and have another non-playoff season, five wins, six wins, whatever?

01:45Why would you want to do that?

01:47Just retire.

01:48If you're going to come back, you want to go to a team that's got a chance to compete

01:51and the Steelers do.
