00:00Aaron Rodgers has answered the burning question.
00:03Aaron, did you believe that this could be your last year?
00:06Do you even think of that right now?
00:07Yes.
00:08As in your last year?
00:09This is it, yeah.
00:12So let me tell you what Aaron Rodgers just did.
00:15No one else is going to frame it this way.
00:17So let me do it.
00:20Aaron Rodgers eliminated distraction.
00:22Give Aaron Rodgers all the credit in the world.
00:25People say, oh, Rodgers, selfish, all about him.
00:30When you say you're retiring in May, at the end of a year,
00:36that means your teammates don't have to answer questions.
00:39No ambiguity.
00:40No conversation.
00:42No, is this the last time Aaron Rodgers is going to be playing in this city or that city?
00:47No.
00:48And now Aaron Rodgers gets to get celebrated and validated for what he is,
00:53the single greatest thrower of the football in the history of the National Football League.
01:00Aaron Rodgers is an all-time great.
01:03Aaron Rodgers has won four MVPs, second in the history of the league, behind only Peyton Manning.
01:10Aaron Rodgers, when you look at his touchdown-to-interception ratio, the guy is unbelievable.
01:15That throw that he made in that Packers-Cowboy game, when he hit Cook, third and 20, thread the needle.
01:23Unbelievable.
01:24Score was tied.
01:26It was 30 seconds left.
01:28That was my favorite throw that Rodgers ever made.
01:31I love Aaron Rodgers.
01:33His teammates, I don't want to hear about Jermichael Finley, who just wants some air on Radio Row.
01:37His teammates swear by him.
01:39His peers respect the hell out of him.
01:41I think the world of Aaron Rodgers.
01:44He always makes sure that he spends time with the young quarterbacks.
01:47He's great in the quarterback room.
01:50Aaron Rodgers understands football history.
01:53He loves the fans.
01:54I am such a monster believer in Aaron Rodgers.
01:57And this, this is an all-time resume.
02:01This guy deserves to have a farewell tour.
02:04This guy deserves to be considered one of the all-time great players and people and teammates
02:12who ever played in the National Football League.
02:14And I just think the world of Rodgers, I think that he's a tremendous thrower of the football.
02:20And to me, he's an all-time great.
02:22Now, when I say all-time great, I have him as the sixth best quarterback of all time.
02:29And when I say all-time, let's go to the last 50 years.
02:32So, my lifetime.
02:34My number one quarterback of all time is Tom Brady.
02:38And Tom Brady, when you look at the resume, you look at the stats, you look at the facts and
02:42the figures,
02:43it's got to be Tom Brady.
02:45Patrick Mahomes is next on my list.
02:47Then, I think you look at somebody like John Elway, then Peyton Manning, then Joe Montana,
02:53Aaron Rodgers, Dan Marino, Drew Brees, Steve Young.
02:58Troy Aikman is often forgotten about, and that bothers me because he played with all these legends
03:05and Hall of Famers and Jimmy Johnson.
03:08Nonsense.
03:09Troy Aikman belongs.
03:10Now, that means there's no Brett Favre on that list, and he threw way too many interceptions for my liking.
03:16And Aaron Rodgers had the ultimate, ultimate touchdown-to-interception ratio.
03:21People will say, well, Rodgers only won one Super Bowl.
03:25Look, the Seattle game, where he and Mike McCarthy both have regrets, we could talk about.
03:30But the rest of it was, frankly, on the organization or the competition.
03:34Give them credit.
03:35They never had the best team.
03:37Rodgers maximized them every single year.
03:40So, I stand by this list.
03:42You know, I'm not going to put, you know, Warren Moon.
03:44I'm not going to put Kurt Warner.
03:46I do think that Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson and Matthew Stafford are getting close on this conversation.
03:54But I'm sure there'll be no debate about this.
03:57Top 10 quarterbacks in the last 50 years.
