00:00Welcome back to Paglalang Pinoy TV!
00:04Meanwhile, our obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Q, is here to answer some of the questions you sent us on our FB page.
00:12Here he is! Good morning, Doc!
00:14Good morning, Connie, and good morning to all of our listeners who are with us this morning.
00:19To my fellow Manuacos in Antique, good morning to you all.
00:22This is the first question for you, Doc, from M. Abueva.
00:26Is it normal to have two periods every month even if you're still on pills?
00:32The normal cycle M is usually 28 days, no plus or minus 7 days.
00:37That's why you can have a period of 21 to 35 days.
00:42That means if your period is less than 21 days or more than 35 days, that's not normal.
00:49So there's a month, sometimes the first week of the month and the last week of the month, you can have a period.
00:55In other words, in one month, you can have a period twice.
00:58Question number two for you, Doc.
01:00Is it true that eating placenta can help in the good recovery of the baby?
01:07That doesn't seem to be true because we don't have a basis for that.
01:11And placenta is also part of a woman's body.
01:14So when you eat it, I don't know what the effect will be.
01:18But placenta is used by cosmetologists.
01:22They process it so that they can put creams or gels for the face.
01:29But they don't eat it.
01:46Thank you for tuning in to Pinoy MD.
