00:00Congratulations on all of the Wicked success. Do you read reviews or how do you kind of approach the critic side of things?
00:07Sometimes the reviews get sent to me, that's how I sort of welcome them in. If they come to me, then I see them, then great.
00:15I don't necessarily seek them out. I think I'm too much of a nervous character to do that.
00:20I just hope and try and do the work as well as I can, and if it works, then it works.
00:26Wicked for good, have you seen anything?
00:28I haven't seen anything, and I'm livid about it because I want to see it.
00:34Do you have a plan of how you want to watch it? By yourself, do you want to be with people?
00:40The first time I watched the first movie, I just had one other person with me. I kind of needed to see it by myself,
00:47with maybe one other, max one other person, and then I can see it with other people in a group.
00:52I need to have my first initial reaction, where it becomes way too overwhelming, and then I can settle and see it again.
01:00That's how I want to see it.
01:01Since this has come out, I believe we have the first Black Alphabet on Broadway. What does that mean to see?
01:07I want to see if I can be there for her first show.
01:10That would be amazing. Have you had any communication or anything?
01:13No, but you're spoiling the surprises.
01:16Surprise, surprise. Don't watch this.
01:17Don't watch this, don't watch this. I'm going to try and reach out in a way.
01:23The timing of that is so beautiful.
01:24I'm so pleased. I'm really pleased for her. I'm very excited for her.
01:28I hope she has the most wonderful time, and I'm rooting for her. I can't wait to see it.
01:33What has been the best kind of fan reaction you've gotten from this experience so far? I'm sure you've gotten a lot.
01:40I've gotten loads of different types of things. Some of the ones that mean a lot are the letters that I've gotten from people.
01:47Where they talk about how they feel like they connect with Alphabet, and they see themselves in Alphabet.
01:52And then you can go to the other side of the spectrum where people are singing the walk right to me in the street.
01:57You know, it's just that kind of vast difference in reaction, but I kind of love it because it's so human and so real.
02:05So that's what I love, yeah.
02:07It's true. You must have so many people singing at you now.
02:09Yeah, I do, and I love it. Because usually it's me.
02:12It's usually me singing at people, but now I get serenaded everywhere I go. It's nice.
