How much Super Bowl LIX winners (and losers) will get paid

Super Bowl LIX players will walk away with massive paychecks, whether they win or not.

00:00Win or lose, this year's Super Bowl players are walking off the field with a lot of cash.

00:05The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will face off in New Orleans,

00:09and each player on the winning team will be coming home with $171,000.

00:15Losing players will take home $96,000 each.

00:18It's a $7,000 increase from last year's payout, but some players will only get half.

00:23To get the full amount, players must have played at least three previous games during

00:27the regular season or playoffs and are on the team's active or inactive list when the Super

00:32Bowl is played, if they're not on the active or inactive list but did play for at least

00:38eight previous games, or if they're a veteran player who was injured during the regular season

00:43but are still under contract.
