00:00The country's employment rate reached 96.9% in December 2024 with 50.19 million people

00:08employed according to the latest labor force survey by the Philippine Statistics Authority.

00:14That employment rate remained at 3.1% while other employment decreased to 10.9%.

00:22The transportation, construction, and public service sectors saw increased employment particularly

00:28in the National Capital Region or NCR, which is a hotspot for job seekers.

00:35Generally, the NCR has increased.

00:39The employment rate is higher in the NCR.

00:43The President also has a directive that job fairs will be held every month.
