00:00The main motivation is to draw the public's attention to the role of the press and to the agenda of the government and of the Parliament,
00:16a fact that we consider to be a little undervalued, that is, the role that the airport system has for the development of the country.
00:26Some small data are enough, 3.8% of the national added value, 1.3 million passengers,
00:36for every million passengers increased in an airport there are 522 new passengers in that airport,
00:43and a general occupation effect of 6,000 people.
00:48These are the most striking data, but then, if you look closely, airports play a very strong role in the territories.
00:56Naturally, depending on the dimensions and locations of the airports in the territories, this role declines in a different way.
01:04But once it was said, from spaces to places, and we want to go beyond that, from spaces to morphs,
01:13to subjects of a comprehensive development of the territories.
01:16And many examples, many paths in action show that this is true.
01:20We have summarized in five points those that are our work paths, our goals.
01:26The first, which is always, let's say, our polar star, is the well-being of the passenger, the quality of the services for the passenger.
01:35And here I would like to remind you that Italy has an undisputed priority when it comes to services for passengers with limited mobility.
01:44The second big chapter is that of a good airport community, and therefore the rights of the workers,
01:52and therefore gender equality, and therefore inclusion paths.
01:56The third is what we have just called, and that is the airport as a subject of development.
02:02We could use a simple equation.
02:06We are talking about connection.
02:08Connection is not a technical data.
02:10Connection is the opportunity of cultural exchanges, of tourism, of work, of development.
02:15And then the fourth and fifth point, on which we are very committed, is that of sustainability and that of technological innovation and digitization.
