00:00The Department of Health assigned the LGO of Calapan as the first Mother-Baby Friendly Workplace in the whole of Mimaropa.

00:15The Department of Health assigned the LGO of Calapan as the first Mother-Baby Friendly Workplace in the whole of Mimaropa under the LGO category.

00:25This is in line with the evaluation of the DOH.

00:30According to the criteria, in order to provide a LGO of Mother-Baby Friendly Workplace, a lactation station is required.

00:38Of course, we need to meet the minimum standards of a lactation station.

00:44There needs to be storage.

00:46Our guidelines are there on how to use our lactation station.

00:51There needs to be a cooling storage or refrigerator for our employees, lactating moms, and expressed breasts.

01:06According to City Nutrition Action Officer Glenda Raquepo,

01:09the local government planned to place lactations in every facility in the city, whether public or private.

01:16This is equivalent to 70% of the barangays in the city in order to meet the DOH guidelines.

01:22Like the marketplace, there needs to be a lactation station.

01:27The malls, although we already have existing malls.

01:32The banks here in Calapan, we are also monitoring.

01:37We are also encouraging to have a lactation station.

01:41The government of Calapan continues to take action

01:45to ensure the rights of mothers and babies are protected.
