00:00The National Commission has never discussed a plan to dismantle the MCA, and the coalition has a very strong commitment to maintain its core component, which also consists of the MIC and the Sabah People's Coalition, said its chairman, Zahid Hamidi.

00:19He said his party will never be affected by the pressure to dismantle any component parties, and only those who dream of it in the daytime.

00:32Former MCA President Wee Kha Siong claimed that there was a suggestion from outsiders for the PM to dismantle his party after being accused of betraying the Chinese people because of allying with UMNO.

00:45No matter how close the party is to UMNO, it holds more responsibilities in the government.

00:52Wee said his party is still waiting for a decision on the suggestion.
