00:24Host Trevor Noah kicked off the night addressing the devastating wildfires that raged through

00:28Los Angeles in January and noting that the telecast would be raising funds for Music

00:33Cares Fire Relief, supporting the work of Music Cares as well as other charities.

00:37In addition, the Grammys gave ad space throughout the night to local businesses.

00:41Noah also noted that musical act Dawes were among those who lost everything in the fires,

00:46which segued into the band taking the stage for the opening performance of the night alongside

00:51John Legend, Sheryl Crow, Brad Paisley, Britney Howard and St. Vincent.

01:01Sabrina Carpenter delivered one of the early performances of the night, giving a cheeky

01:05performance of her hits Espresso and Please Please Please.

01:13Sabrina also earned one of the early wins of the night for Best Pop Vocal Album in addition

01:17to Dochey for Best Rap Album.

01:26The rapper also capped off her win with a show-stopping performance of her hit Catfish

01:31and Denial is a River.

01:35A standout moment was when Taylor Swift presented the award for Best Country Album to Beyonce

01:40for Cowboy Carter.

01:48Other notable performances included Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, Charli XCX, Chapel Roan, Shakira

01:54and a Quincy Jones tribute performance that included Stevie Wonder, Laini Wilson and more,

02:00where Cynthia Erivo gave a captivating rendition of Fly Me to the Moon.

02:09And Janelle Monáe gave a thriller performance.

02:15The weekend also made a surprise Grammys return a few years after boycotting the awards show.

02:25Chris Martin delivered the In Memoriam and Queen Latifah delivered the Dr. Dre Global

02:36As for the big awards, Chapel Roan took home the Grammy for Best New Artist and gave an
